I (Chef Booker T Pannell) am a native of Sacramento California who grew up with a large family of 10 sisters and 5 brothers.

 At an early age of 8 years old, my love for cooking was inspired by my dad Booker T. Pannell Sr.

 My dad enjoyed cooking for our family and friends like wise, so do I.  

 My culinary experience started when I was 15 years old at Capital Tamale Cafe as a dishwasher.

 I was not able to cook until I was 18 years old. During the time when I couldn’t cook I watched and was guided by the Head Chef Ciro Barberra. He was at Capital Tamale Café for 8 years and learned how to cook American, Authentic Mexican and Italian food.

 There are so many accomplishments but two of which  was featured in the Sacramento Magazine and Sacramento Observer Newspaper.

I have been given awards by Chefs for UNCF, Kids and Excellence Food Tasting, African American Culinary Experience, Berkley Crush Festival just to name a few.

 The key for me is to maintain an outstanding reputation and following because of my culinary artistic flair of offering scrumptious and outrageously tasting food for every type of affair.

 I participates in several community fundraisers and works for Rohrer Brothers Produce for 23 Years.

 My food fare is the background theme that makes birthday parties, weddings, family gatherings, special occasions, banquets, business meetings, company picnics and other outdoor affairs highly successful.
