Terms & Conditions and Catering Agreement**

1. Acceptance of Agreement
By selecting a catering menu, submitting an order, and making payment through the Chef
Booker T Catering website or invoice system, the client (“Client”) acknowledges that they have
read, understood, and agreed to all terms and conditions outlined herein. This Agreement
constitutes a legal and binding contract between Chef Booker T Catering (“Company”) and the
Client.
2. Guest Count Requirements
- Standard Catering Minimum: 20 guests
- Large-Scale Events:
o Minimum: 50 guests
o Maximum: 200 guests - Guest counts must be finalized at the time of booking unless otherwise approved in
writing by management.
3. Service Duration
- Food service (“feeding time”) is limited to one (1) hour minimum and two (2) hours
maximum, depending on the menu and service style selected. - Any additional service time requested may result in additional fees and must be approved
by management.
4. Pricing, Taxes, and Service Charge
- All prices are subject to applicable sales tax.
- A 15% service charge will be added to all catering orders.
- Pricing is all-inclusive unless otherwise noted and covers the complete execution of the
event as outlined in this Agreement.
5. Included Supplies
Unless otherwise specified, the following items are included with full-service catering:
- China dinner plates
- Dinner forks, knives, and spoons
- Water goblets
- Heavy-duty or sturdy napkins (Client’s choice of color, subject to availability)
6. Chef’s Additions & Tablecloths
- Tablecloths are not included by default.
- Tablecloth rentals may be added to your order at an additional cost.
- Pricing for Chef’s Additions varies.
- Clients must contact Chef Booker T Catering directly to determine appropriate sizes,
styles, and availability.
7. Service Style & Drop-Off Catering
- Some menus are offered as drop-off catering only.
- Drop-off catering does not include staff service unless explicitly stated.
- For drop-off catering, the Client assumes full responsibility for maintaining proper food
temperatures once delivery is complete.
8. Chafing Dish Rental
- Chafing dishes and sternos are not included unless added.
- Chafing Dish Rental Service:
o $80.00 flat fee
o Includes drop-off and pickup - Availability may vary by menu and event type.
9. Setup Requirements
- Chef Booker T Catering requires a minimum of two (2) hours prior to guest arrival for
proper setup of buffet and guest dining tables. - Failure to provide adequate setup time may affect presentation and service quality, for
which the Company will not be held responsible.
10. On-Site Oversight
To ensure exceptional quality and execution:
- At least one owner of Chef Booker T Catering will be present on-site for full-service
events. - Oversight includes supervision from setup through final breakdown.
11. Menu & Setting Selection
- Clients must select their menu and event setting at the time of booking.
- Once selected, all choices are final.
- Any requested changes must be submitted no later than seven (7) days prior to the
event. - Approval of changes is not guaranteed and depends on availability, staffing, and the
Company’s event schedule.
12. Client Responsibilities
- Client is responsible for providing adequate space, access, utilities (if required), and
event readiness. - Client assumes responsibility for any damage to Company equipment caused by guests or
venue conditions.
13. Cancellation & Refund Policy
- All deposits and payments are non-refundable unless otherwise stated in writing.
- Cancellations or rescheduling requests are subject to management approval and
availability.
14. Limitation of Liability
Chef Booker T Catering shall not be held liable for circumstances beyond its control, including
but not limited to weather conditions, venue limitations, power outages, or guest behavior.
15. Governing Law
This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of
California.
16. Entire Agreement
This document constitutes the entire agreement between Chef Booker T Catering and the Client
and supersedes all prior communications, representations, or agreements.
